The house move is nearly complete. I purchased my first set of tableware, the tv (a gift from a friend) arrived today and only two more boxes to unpack.

I am smack in the middle of London city now. Think staying somewhere in between Bukit Bintang and KLCC. Everything is nearby yet I am on a street quiet enough, away from the tourists and city workers.

After being away for so long, I am just starting to feel the need to build a semblance of a life here. And as wrong and contradictory as this sounds. I have been trying to achieve this by buying stuff. Making purchases for the new place is my current idea of roots. Yes, it makes moving around harder, but I think I need that lately.Being grounded feels strangely comforting.
