Phew, what a weekend. The laptop crashed last Friday, leaving me frantic on the possibility of spending Christmas and New Year without the internet. With the weekend free, I spent the weekend doing useful stuff like, cleaning the house, wrapping presents and dinners with friends.

Laptop got fixed up this morning when, luckily enough, there were still people working on Christmas day. So yeah, internet for the next couple of hours until I head down to a friends place until boxing day. And since there are no tubes/trains/buses working on Christmas day, we will probably be holed up the next couple of days eating, drinking, mahjong and all things merry.

Oh oh and the picture above was taken during the recent Santacon in London. Basically a day when people get dressed up as Santas and terrorize the streets in hundreds (thousands?) - drinking, chatting, handing out goodies and silly things like waving to tourists everywhere, pelting each other with brussels sprouts and “how many Santas can you fit into a phone booth?” (Last known answer was 10)
