Today would mark the KL Flickr meetup 1st anniversary. They have got this big doo-ah all planned complete with slide shows and cupcakes. I just know these people are gonna go crazy.

From the first time when I tentatively walked into Starbucks to feeling right at home within 10 minutes… when they whipped out their cameras and casually “arranged” the badges before taking photos. Somehow became one of the admins (really? anti-social me? ;)) and went for every meetup until I left for the UK.

The group has gotten larger now (and crazier) but I know this: we have converted strangers to flickr members, people who don’t own cameras (or dslrs) into buying one… and most importantly, no equipment talk.

Shaf and I had this idea of doing a video “Academy Award” style for me not being there and all but work got in the way. Missing out from all the action and reminiscing on the good times from all the way here Happy Anniversary Klickrs!
